Sukriti Veni Bandreddi, daughter of Pushpa maker Sukumar, has earned a major honor. This time, in the music category. She won the Ensemble Excellence Award from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The young talent secured a full scholarship for the upcoming Summer Music Program. Out of 272 applicants who auditioned worldwide, only 14 received full funding. Notably, Sukriti stood out as the single recipient chosen in the vocal category.

Her acting debut in Gandhi Tatha Chettu in 2025 earned her widespread acclaim. The film follows a young girl who adopts Gandhian principles of non-violence to save her grandfather's beloved tree. Sukriti won the National Award for Best Child Artist for this role. When she won, celebs such as Peddi actor Ram Charan congratulated her on social media for such a coveted debut accomplishment. Sukumar expressed gratitude and shared his pride after President Droupadi Murmu praised the movie for giving meaningful values to future generations.

While acting brought her national recognition, music remains her true passion. This Berklee recognition marks a vital progress in her artistic journey. She and her parents look forward to a musical endeavour.

Meanwhile, Sukumar is involved in the pre-production of RC17, Ram Charan's 17th movie, which will go on the floors later this year.
