In the wake of the arrival of Aura of Ustaad, the second song from Ustaad Bhagat Singh, doubts have been raised if the film will take political pot shots at Jana Sena Party's rivals. In this regard, director Harish Shankar has issued a video statement.
"Many have asked me if the film will feature political dialogues. I would like to clarify that Pawan Kalyan garu, on day one, instructed us to separate cinema from politics. He has been sincerely observing the principle. In Vakeel Saab and They Call Him OG, he acted alongside Prakash Raj despite ideological differences with the actor. His focus has always been policy-driven," the director stated.
He added that the actor-politician never wants any individual to be personally targeted through a scene or dialogue. "Aura of Ustaad is only about Pawan Kalyan's stature. His fans vote for different political parties. His fans themselves want only entertainment, not politics, in cinema. His fans are right-minded. Our film won't belittle or mock anybody. There won't be any satires whatsoever," Harish Shankar added.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh will hit the cinemas on March 26.
