Raaka is one of the biggest pan-Indian movies currently in the making. Besides Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, the sci-fi entertainer is expected to feature an ensemble cast in different roles.
Preity Mukhundhan of Kannappa fame was offered a secondary role in the movie. The 25-year-old actress, known for her hot looks and screen presence, couldn't take on the golden offer because she was doing some other film at that time. It's not known whom Atlee Kumar, the director, cast in her place.
Preity first gained recognition through modelling, appearing in numerous television commercials and print campaigns, and later attracted widespread attention with the hit music video Aasa Kooda (Tamil). Preity made her film debut with the Telugu comedy-horror Om Bheem Bush in 2024 and has since appeared in projects across multiple South Indian film industries. Idaiyam Murali is among her upcoming titles.
