Here is an important Hollywood update. The studio Warner Bros. has delayed The Batman: Part II once more (in what is reminiscent of the great pan-India movie syndrome). The film was set for October 2027. It will now open February 18, 2028.
This marks the sequel's fourth release date change. It was originally scheduled for October 2025, then pushed to October 2026 following the 2023 Hollywood strikes. The gap since the 2022 original will now stretch nearly six years.
Meanwhile, director Matt Reeves on Wednesday shared new footage showing Robert Pattinson back in costume as Batman, set in a snowy Gotham. "If I'm being completely honest my excitement level for the first teaser is pretty much nuked by another delay," a netizen wrote. "Almost 6 years between Part I and II... And yet, I feel more confident about this movie than ever. What a teaser! The world of filmmaking has changed much since 2022 and I am glad Matt Reeves is taking all the time he needs to craft the best sequel he could possibly make," a movie buff added.
