Anupama Parameswaran reveals how Sai Pallavi helped her find solace in painting

Actress Anupama Parameswaran has shared a note about how her colleague, Sai Pallavi, helped her discover and explore her artistic side through painting and watercolours around 2021, when she was going through a very hard phase.

She wrote, "As a child, I loved colours, but I never really explored painting. Then one day, while sharing what I was going through, I spoke to Sai Pallavi. She handed me her watercolours, and that simple gesture started it all. A little shout-out and a lot of love to Pallavi for introducing me to a part of myself I didn't know existed. Darling, love you.”

The duo's friendship dates back to working together on the 2015 Malayalam film Premam (where Sai Pallavi played Malar and Anupama played Mary). The film was remade in Telugu. While Anupama reprised her role from the original, Sai Pallavi's role was reprised by Shruti Haasan.

Anupama was most recently seen in Mareechika, a delayed theatrical release co-starring Regina Cassandra and Viraj Ashwin. Sai Pallavi is occupied with Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana movies.
