“Based on the circumstantial evidence of everything that I have gathered throughout my whole life and all the testimonies in the US Congress that I have heard, I absolutely think that aliens have been here and they are here. And who knows, maybe they have always been here,” Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg has stated. His comments have been widely discussed online.
Spielberg has spent nearly 50 years making films about extraterrestrial life. Close Encounters, E.T., and War of the Worlds are his popular works.
It is for the first time that he specifically cited congressional testimony as part of what strengthened his view that aliens are real. "Since 2023, several witnesses have made claims about unexplained aerial phenomena, although those claims remain controversial and largely unverified," a report says.
The comments were made by Spielberg while discussing his upcoming film Disclosure Day, which deals with hidden evidence of alien contact. June 12 is when the film will hit the cinemas.
