Sancharame from EPIC - FIRST SEMESTER is a breezy number whipping up a very contrasting singer-lyricist combination: Hesham Abdul Wahab and Goreti Venkanna. The language, as such, is rooted. The vocal energy is smooth. Primarily filmed on Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, the song is set in the backdrop of London, where the pair indulge in little pleasures. "The visuals, the lines and the beautiful moments feel like a warm hug… and once the magic hits it simply doesn’t let you go," Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas wrote, sharing the song.
The film is touted to be a "point of view" more than an objective truth. An "emotionally rich, softcore love story that captures the innocence, conflicts, and unspoken emotions of young hearts", the film is jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.
Director Aditya Hasan recently iterated his conviction in narrating stories that don't need a cinematic conflict plot point or event. "You will see in Epic the same family that you saw in 90's - A Middle Class Biopic. Our film breaks the mould in terms of the screenplay and dialogue," he added.
With cinematography by Azeem Mohammad and editing by Navin Nooli, Epic has production design by Avinash Kolla.
