Pochamma has been a folk goddess worshipped by millions in our villages. Aha has named one of its upcoming originals after the Goddess. To be released in April this year, the web series has landed its Motion Poster.
Co-starring Ramesh Indra, Priya Shatamarshan, and Shruti Naidu (also the show's producer), Pochamma has an interesting premise. "Your Sin Has a Witness", the caption says. And the Witness may be the Divine Herself. "Some sins fade. Some sins follow you forever. And this one has a witness," the team had said, teasing the glimpse. "You can hide the sin. You can bury the truth. But you can’t silence the witness," they further added.
Directed by Ramesh Indra, Pochamma has cinematography by Shreesha Kuduvalli. The music is composed by LV Ganesan.
Shruti Naidu Chitra will announce the streaming date soon. After the Motion Poster, many on social media have urged the makers to consider a theatrical release before streaming on Aha.
