Two major Tamil movies, both of which will also have Telugu-dubbed release in theatres, have secured their Summer 2026 slots. Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) and Suriya’s Karuppu officially confirmed their theatrical debut dates.
Love Insurance Kompany (LIK):
Director Vignesh Shivan’s futuristic romantic comedy is scheduled to hit screens on April 3, clashing with Sharwanand's Biker. Produced by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar, the film stars Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and SJ Suryah. The project, which features music by Anirudh Ravichander, is a Good Friday weekend release.
Karuppu:
Director RJ Balaji officially announced that Karuppu will release on May 14. The action drama film, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, marks the onscreen reunion of Suriya and Trisha after nearly two decades. Billed as a commercial entertainer with fantasy elements, the movie features Suriya in the role of a lawyer named Saravanan. It will clash with Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Maa Inti Bangaram (May 15).
