Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse, will head to theatres on June 26. It is making way for Ram Charan's Peddi.
"The release of Lenin which was originally scheduled for May 1st will now be postponed. With our dearest Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi arriving on April 30th, we believe it is the right time to celebrate cinema together in a positive and healthy environment. We all know the bond Ram Charan garu shares with Akhil garu and how he has always been a constant well wisher. This decision comes with utmost respect and regard," Sithara Entertainments and Manam Enterprises LLP wrote.
Producer S Naga Vamsi's team assured the audience that Lenin will be a "complete celebration of cinema packed with every emotion and presented in the team’s finest form". The statement on Saturday further added, "We are committed to bringing you the best possible experience on the big screen."
Lenin is also produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna. Shivaji, Getup Srinu, Pushpa 2 fame Pavani Karanam, among others, feature in different roles in this Murali Kishor Abburu directorial. A song titled VaareVaa VaareVaa was released in January before musical promotions were put on hold. Thaman is the music director of Lenin.
