Balan The Boy is all set to hit the cinemas on June 19 in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. The pan-Indian movie has been made as a creative and dramatic endeavour. Chidambaram serves as the director following his success with Manjummel Boys. The script is written by Jithu Madhavan who previously gained acclaim for Aavesham.
Meanwhile, the film is gearing up for the prestigious Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival. A market screening is officially scheduled for May 14. The international stage is well-deserving by Balan The Boy.
The film is a collaborative effort between two major production houses. KVN Productions is led by Venkat K Narayana, who is currently making Yash's Toxic. Thespian Films, which is headed by Shailaja Desai Fenn, is the other banner. Led by Chandu Salimkumar (son of veteran actor Salim Kumar), the film has music by Sushin Shyam and cinematography by Shyju Khalid. Ajayan Chalissery (who also designed the sets for Manjummel Boys) is the production designer.
