The teaser for David Reddy will be out on May 20, on the occasion of Manchu Manoj's birthday. They are rebranding the actor, who will now come with the moniker of Raw King. So, he is moving on from Rocking Star, the title he has been known for.
Producers Nallagangula Venkat Reddy and Bharat Motukuri are making this pan-Indian movie (to be released in all major southern Indian languages and Hindi) under the direction of Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti.

"Since the story is set against the backdrop of the British era, a lot is going on in the background," a source says. The story of the film takes place between1897 and 1920. The bike the gusty protagonist uses in the movie is named 'War Dog', while the words 'Death Note' are plastered on his hand. He is a completely fictional character whose legendary status matches that of Subhas Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh.
Mariya Ryaboshapka plays a key role. Senior actress Ramya Krishnan has a pivotal part. After Baahubali, she will once again be seen in a meaty part. Samuthirakani, Abhay Deol, and Kanchana are playing different roles.
Ravi Basrur (music), Acharya Venu (cinematography), Ujwal Kulkarni (editing), Talluri Krishna Mohan (art direction), Supreme Sundar and Wing Chun (action directors) are working on the movie.
Meanwhile, Manoj and his wife, Mounika Bhuma, have launched a social service organization named AIKYA DHAIRYA SENA SAMITHI. The release date of David Reddy will be announced soon.
