'Aa Okkati Adakku' will hit the cinemas on May 3. Ahead of the movie's release, its Trailer has been put out by debutant producer Rajiv Chilaka.

Speaking on the occasion, Allari Naresh said that doing a comedy film was like playing on the home turf. "An actor has to be able to switch from one genre to another genre in a snap. It has been a learning experience working with experienced filmmakers and doing a number of genres. In 'AOA', I play an unmarried man whose family members are upset with his marital status. So, there are emotions as well. It's not a comedy entertainer throughout. We have addressed a serious issue through this film. In the name of marriage, a lot of deception is taking place. We are not affected by the election season. Entertainment is a crucial part of the Telugu culture. Summer vacation is ongoing. This is an organic comedy. We haven't written the story for the sake of comedy. Rather, it is the other way round," Naresh said.

Faria Abdullah said, "I am usually a humourous person off-screen. It's good that I am getting to do comedies. Even as a theatre artist, I used to love doing comedies." The actress is known for 'Jathi Ratnalu'.

Writer Abburi Ravi said, "This film is not a satire. Marriage is the most serious aspect of our lives. That's why 'AOA' has an emotional undercurrent. We are not undermining the significance of marriage. In Naresh's character, you will find a representative of yourself. Those who are at the crossroads of your life will find a voice in him."

Producer Rajiv Chilaka said that no time is wrong for an entertainer to be released in theaters. He suggested that he is aware of the election fever but is confident that audiences will flock to theatres nevertheless. "This film has been made with a proper plan, with a wonderful team. The content is strong," he added.

Gopi Sundar has composed the music. Vennela Kishore is part of the cast.
