Milky Beauty Tamanna, who made her debut as heroine through the film ‘Sri’, has carved a special image for herself as star heroine within a short span of time with the successful films like ‘Happy Days’, ‘100% Love’, ‘Oosaravelli’, ‘Thadaka’ and ‘Racha’. Tamanna played princes Avanthika in Rajamouli's most prestigious and most awaited project 'Baahubali'. It is releasing worldwide this Friday i.e. on July 10, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam in nearly 4000 screens worldwide. Promotion programs are also going on rapidly and part of this Tamanna gave interview regarding her experience with the media.
About her character in ‘Baahubali’, she described, “’Baahubali’ is a fresh concept folk film. It’s completely different from regular commercial films. I played the character Avanthika, a
warrior Princess. The role has several shades. Details related to my role were not revealed till now. People are going to be surprised by watching my character in theaters. I’m sure Avanthika character will become big plus to my career.”
When asked about director Rajamouli, Tamanna praised him saying, “Rajamouli is a legendry director. He always goes will perfect planning and clarity. He perfectly knows the vision and how to start such a huge project. He invested nearly one and half year time for per-production works. He used to conduct shoots for us before shooting. We used to do rehearsals two days before the main shooting. In the same way, he used to narrate the story with good clarity.”
About the film ‘Bahubali’ Tammanna said, “Some films like ‘Avara’ and ‘100% Love’ have earned good name and recognition to me. I’m extremely confident that ‘Baahubali’ will definitely stand out as the best film in my career.”
Tell us about producers’ support?
It needs lot of patience to make such a huge budget film like ‘Baahubali’. Hats off to the producers Sobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Their support is unforgettable. They are very cool. Now they are releasing the film worldwide in many theaters. They are very confident about the film than all of us.
Have you watched the complete film?
No, I’ve not watched the first copy. I just watched few scenes. Like everyone am also excited to hit that to theaters.
What are your next projects?
I love to play negative roles. I’m working on a Tamil film. In that I’m playing an out and out negative role. I’m doing a film with Nagarjuna and Karthi combination. I’m also working for Ravi Teja’s ‘Bengal Tiger’.
