Lavanya Tripati is ready with her film Radha. Her last outing with Varun Taj Mister sank without any trace. Radha will be coming to theatres on 12th May, the actress talks about the film and more
Are you Radha in the film?
Sharwanand and I play Radha in the film (smiles). Our characters have different flavour though our names are same. It is a nice entertaining film.
Tell us more about your role?
I am a modern and a humorous college going girl. After a point there is a twist and my role takes a different turn. It gets more interesting after a point.
Have you seen the final product?
Yes! the film has come out well. It also has a suspense element in it. Sharwanand excels in the role of cop. Our romance will be the major highlight in this film.
How was it working with Sharwanand?
This is my first film with him. He always thinks about how he can improvise a scene. Also in real life he does not talk much. We are good friends now.
Mister failed...are you disappointed?
Not really. I liked my role and gave my best. Hits and flops are a part of life. I give my best for every film of mine. Success is important, but then it is not in our hands.
What are your future projects?
I have a film with Naga Chaitanya and we have finished the first schedule. It is a good film and I am excited about the second schedule.
Tell us your experience working with Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya?
I am lucky to have worked with both father and son. I liked working with Nagarjuna sir more. He was more like a mentor. I am still getting to know Naga Chaitanya.
