Sree Vishnu's next, 'Thippara Meesam', directed by Krishna Vijay L of 'Asura' fame, is going to release on 8th November and the actor has talked about the film and more in this interview.
Excerpts..
Symbol of responsibility
Meesam (Moustache) is considered as a symbol of responsibility. Ancient kings used to grow big moustaches showing they had a huge responsibility as rulers. A man can twirl his moustache proudly in front of others only when he has performed his duties and responsibilities. The film is based on that point.
Mother sentiment
I will not be seen mouthing lengthy dialogues and doing action sequences in this movie. I play someone who works in a night club. My character has a different attitude and his antics evoke laughs sometimes. The film has a good mother sentiment and commercial elements. Having said that, the film will be realistic and relatable.
Reason for delay
The film was done with the production and post production as scheduled. But we didn't want to release it immediately after 'Brochevaarevaruraa' and also didn't want it to get affected by biggies like 'Saaho' and 'Sye Raa'. So, we've kept the film's release on hold.
Good rapport
Director Krishna Vijay and I share a good rapport. I go to the sets on time and do what's expected of me. I think that's the reason why he feels comfortable working with me. I feel very happy that he wants to keep doing films with me.
Hiking remuneration
I signed four movies before the release of 'Brochevaarevaruraa' and I haven't hiked my remuneration for those films. I may do it for future projects.
She's the best
Rohini garu played my mother in this movie. She does any scene in a single take. Though I felt nervous initially because of her seniority, after starting working with her, my fear was gone and I felt very comfortable. I can say she is the best actress I've worked with so far.
Next films
Three movies are finalized as of now. But I don't know which film will go to the sets first.
