How do you feel about your journey as a blockbuster director?
I am very happy. My journey as a director started with Patas. It was the film that introduced me to the audience as a director. I am always grateful to Nandamuri Kalyanram for the movie. He gave me a chance to believe in my story. The movie Patas was released and became a big hit. This success has earned me the reputation of becoming a crazy director.
What was your experience with the debut film Patas?
I learned how to balance the film during the shooting of Patas. I did this movie very well in my limitations and circumstances.
After the release of my first movie, my whole family enjoyed watching the movie. It was also an unforgettable experience for me. Patas is a movie that fulfilled my dream of becoming a director.
What is the best compliment you get after Patas Success?
My favorite director, Vinayak, made a phone call and appreciated me. BA Raju, Jaya Garu talked to me for an hour.
On the release day of patas, Jaya Garu said about my success that I am enjoying now. That was an unforgettable compliment for me.
What are the most memorable incidents for you while Supreme Shooting?
The action scene done in Rajasthan during Supreme was very thrilling to me. The chasing scene with the lorries is unforgettable. As well as the song Andam Hindolam Remix was awesome. We worked so hard so the movie played well. Tej worked very hard for this film. We also shot an action episode with all the disabled people in the climax.
It also got a very good name. All the disabled people acted very hard. At that time, this action scene was the talk of the industry. The struggles faced by fight masters and child artists for the movie got nandi awards.
When is the next movie F3 going to be made?
Dil Raju has planned a schedule for F3 from December 14. I know how many audiences thought the F2 movie was their story. Now, for the fun and frustration, another F is adding. Get ready for more fun. We are coming to make you laugh after this corona stress.
Whether Corona gets the vaccine or not, I can definitely guarantee that the audience will get the laughter vaccine with F3.
When will the movie with superstar Mahesh again?
If Mahesh calls me Anil, I will open the door and go and sit in front of him. I also know his home address. My car stops in front of his house. The chef makes good snacks at his house, eats them, tells him a story and makes the movie okay. I'm always ready to make a movie whenever he is ready. It’s like running if he calls.
What are your future plans?
Have a lot of ideas, I am going to plan one movie after the other in this journey. As long as the audience is supportive, I will continue to do the films.
As if you have a good actor in you, can you see yourself on screen as an actor?
I will continue to direct until the audience say, please stop! we can't able to laugh this much. Only then I will think about acting.
Do you think of this birthday as the happiest birthday?
It was a year that gave me joy in all sorts of ways. My son Ajay Suryamsh was born on the day of the pre-release event. I got the blockbuster hit with the movie. It was so much fun. Along with my wife Bhargavi and daughter Shreyashree, Ajay Suryamsh also joined us. This time I will celebrate my birthday very happily.
What is your opinion on celebrating a birthday?
Birthday is a very important day for every human being. Birthdays must be given prominence as we come to the earth and achieve so much. Every birthday should be well celebrated. We need to compare our developments and move forward to achieve more success.
On entering the industry with a passion for cinema, how satisfied are you with your career?
I am Very happy with my career.
