As promised by the producer Ambica Krishna, the audio of Veerabhadra was released with much fanfare in the presence of Balakrishna's fans on the evening of 17th March at People's Plaza, Necklace Road. Balakrishna's fans came from all over Andhra Pradesh. Six of them were invited on stage to receive Veerabhadra cassettes from the guests. All six of the film's songs were released individually by different guests. In a Stylish presentation the audio cassettes were placed in a big conch (Sankham).
D. Rama Naidu released 'Jagamkosam Suryudu' and presented it to Sripati Rajeswar. MLA Kishan Reddy released and presented 'Abba Abba Pedavi Poojaku Velayara' to Sridhar of Warangal. Brahmanandam presented 'A edukondalu' to Tilak from Eluru. Khasim from Nandyala received the song 'Mayavundi Pillo' from Mani Sharma. Heroine Sada presented 'Sirimalle Nelaku Andam' to Kantharao from Bangalore and the last song 'Boppai Boppai' was released and presented by Jana Reddy to a Namburi Satish.
Speaking about Balakrishna, Ambica Krishna said "Balakrishna is the most handsome hero of our industry and he seems to become more handsome with each passing day. The day he gave me the dates to do this film is the second most unforgetful day of my life, after my marriage day. A.S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary has done a brilliant job in directing this story written by Anjaneya Pushpanand, who had earlier written blockbuster stories for Balakrishna like Lorry Driver and Rowdy Inspector." He also complimented the two heroines of the film Sada and Tanushree Datta.
While D. Ramanaidu complimented producer Ambica Krishna as an uncompromising man in matters of film production, MLA Kishan compared hero Balakrishna with Cricket players and said that Balakrishna, who is very passionate about his film, is like a test player with long standing innings, rather than a one day player whose glory exists as long as the game does.
Director A.S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary, a huge Balkrishna fan himself, said that Balakrishna fan's will start shouting Zindabad slogans, some thing he used to do in earlier days, after watching this film.
Dialogue writer Marudhuri Raja said that his long wait for writing dialogues for a Balakrishna film had come to an end with Veerabhadra. Comedian Brahmanandam gave a peek into the special moments of the film when he revealed that Balakrishna did a single leg dance movement in this film. Venu Madhav told that there are more powerful dialogues in Veerabhadra than Balakrishna's previous films.
Actress Sada said that her character in Veerabhadra was quite unbelievable and different from her previous films and that she was lucky to have got an opportunity to act opposite Balakrishna.
Hero Balakrishna finally took to the mike and started his speech by reciting a couple of powerful dialogues from the film, which sent the fan's into a frenzy. He said "There is not a single boring moment in this film. Veerabhadra will appeal to all the cross sections and will offer full-fledged meals to my fans as well as movie lovers. Veerabhadra is the result of a good team work".
Home Minister Jana Reddy, who released the audio CD, was a late entry to the function which was also attended by Sana, Anjaneya Pushpanand, G. Ram Prasad, Peter Hynes, Marudhuri Raja, Ashok, Sai Sriharsha, Chinni Charan, Basha Sri, Sudarshanam, Rallapalli, Brahmanandam, Kovai Sarala, Soni, Gowtam Raju, Padmanabham, Raghunadha Reddy, Deepanjali, Suthivelu, Raghu and Dharmavarapu. The function was hosted by Shilpa Chakravarthy and was telecasted live by MAA TV and Teja News Channel. Supreme music released the audio.
