Actress Charmi’s first Tamil film Ladam has completed almost 50% of its talkie part and now way half through the film its producers have decided to make a Telugu version of it. The film’s Telugu version was launched on March 17th at Annapurna Studios with yester year’s hero Krishnam Raju sounding the clap board for the first shot that was directed by Sagar while K.S. Rama Rao switched on the camera.
Speaking at a press meet held on the sets actress Charmi seemed all excited about her first bilingual venture “I am portraying the role of an angel who cares only for the present and not the future. I have imitated most of the popular heroes in this film” a cheeky Charmi said “Aravind is playing the lead opposite me.”
“This film is a comic action flick” director Prabu Solomon said “The story takes place over 16 days and is narrated from the heroine’s point of view. Charmi is like lady Rajnikanth.”
