Basthi Audio Release

Audio launch function of senior actress Jayasudha’s younger son Shreayan Kapoor’s ‘Basthi’ was held on Sunday in Hyderabad. Praveen Immadi has composed the music. Sripriya, Raj Kumar Sethupathi, Tammareddy Bharadwaja and Kodali Venkateswara Rao have jointly revealed the first song. Jeevitha, Rajasekhar, Maheswara Reddy, Lagadapati Sridhar, N Shankar and T Subbirami Reddy have jointly launched the second song, while the third song was released by Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Murali Mohan, Rammohan Rao and Suresh Babu. Murali Mohan launched the fourth song. Our CM KCR has graced the event and launched the theatrical trailer, Big CD and audio CD. The film is being directed and produced by entrepreneur-turned-filmmaker Vasu Manthena under Vajman Productions banner. Pragathi has paired up with Shreayan in this movie.

Speaking on the occasion, CM KCR said, “Shreayan is just like a Telugu Amitabh. He is a tall man. I wish he will have a better future. His name is enrolled in the list of Telangana shooter. We are trying our best to encourage the film industry. But, Telangana was formed recently and we must adjust for some time. Recently announced industrial method is receiving good response. Now, we are keeping sites on film industry. Telangana has many directors and producers. They will start institutes and so that we can extract talents. Artists have no limits. Everyone will like Amitabh and Latha Mangeshkar.”

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “KCR perfectly knows how to respect artists. Jayasudha, who has 43 years long career, has worked in 27 films in my production. Director Vasu has approached me once. I understood his creativity. I’ve watched the clippings of this film. Shreayan has performed beautifully.”

Vijaya Nirmala, Shailaja Kiran, Naresh, Murali Mohan, Mohan Babu, Lagadapati Sridhar, T Subbirami Reddy and all others who graced the event wished all the best to the team.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayasudha said, “’Basthi’ is a cute love story. My younger son Shreayan is being introduced as hero through this film. The film is being made with a simple point. Shreayan and Pragathi’s pair is very cute. I wish that the film will become big hit.”

Director and the producer of the film, Vasu Manthena said, “Making a movie is my long-time dream and it happened now. ‘Basthi’ is a cute love story. Hero and heroine falls in love. But, hero gets into trouble. How he overcome from the problem and how his love wins is the story. We have wrapped up the entire shooting part within 36 days and within 42 hours we have completed dubbing works also. We are planning to release the audio on June 21 and our Chief Minister KCR may grace the event as chief guest.”

Hero Shreayan shared, “This is my first audio function. Praveen Immadi has provided excellent music. We are planning to release the film on July 3.”
