#SSR61 is going to be auteur Singeetam Srinivasa Rao's 61st movie. Kalki 2898 AD maker Nag Ashwin is closely associated with the project as the producer. The title of the movie, helmed by the maker of iconic movies like Aditya 369 and Pushpaka Vimanam, will be made official soon.
The musical narrative is touted to be Singeetam's most ambitious project yet. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for this Vyjayanthi Movies outing. Swapna Cinema, which recently produced Champion, is another banner bringing out this one.
In a video making the project public, we see the legendary filmmaker say that nobody has attempted a narrative that turns even dialogue into music. To this, DSP nods. This is the first collaboration between the duo. Through the project, Singeetam is making it public that he is far from retiring. At 94, he is surely taking on a huge responsibility. "A visionary. A master. A genius ahead of time," producer Nag Ashwin, who earlier derived some thematic ideas for his Prabhas-starring dystopian sci-fi thriller movie, wrote on X.
