Sitara Press Meet

Every artist enters into the film industry with lots of beautiful dreams. But they don’t know that they are ruining their golden times of life and there is also a mystery that why some are sacrificing their lives in their young age what they cannot get back again at all. ‘Sitara’ depicts the tragic life of artists behind the colourful world. The film which was directed by debutant director Surendra GL on Genus Films banner has been released on December 4. It has received appreciations from several prominent people of the film industry with the first show itself. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged press meet.

Director Surendra GL said, “’Sitara’ which is set in the backdrop of a heroine, is my first film as director. Everyone who watched the film are appreciating me and it has given me immense happiness. Everyone is praising the story and screenplay to the skies. I’m thankful to everyone who encouraged me and my film. My heartfelt thanks to the producer Ravikumar DS for trusting me and having given me this opportunity and supporting me to make good quality film without compromising.”

Producer Ravikumar said, “We may see many films, but only few touches our hearts and ‘Sitara’ goes to that few films’ genre. We are receiving appreciations from everyone who watched the film. It’s a pride and happiness. Especially, the story and screenplay impressed everyone. I’m thankful to everyone who are encouraging the film.”

Hero and heroine along with the film unit members were present at the press meet and they too expressed their happiness.
Ravi Babu, Ravali Kour, Suman, Ashwin, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna and Chitram Srinu and some others have played important roles in the film.
