Mukunda Audio Release

The audio launch of Mega Brother Naga Babu’s son Varun Tej starrer ‘Mukunda’ was a star studded affair attended by a host of Tollywood celebrities and Mega family. Audio composed by Mickey J Meyer was released through Adithya Music on 3rd of December at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. K Raghvendra Rao was the chief guest of the evening. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Allu Araving, and Varun's parents Naga Babu and Padmaja and some prominent people in the industry have graced the event. Allu Aravind has launched the theatrical trailer. Chiranjeevi launched the audio by presenting the CD to Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry.

Srikanth Addala, who carved a special image for himself with ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ and ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, is directing the film. Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) is producing this family entertainer with Tagore Madhu as presenter. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead role.

Speaking at the audio release function, Megastar Chiranjeevi said, “I’m very happy that Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry’s felicitation was done on this stage. It is a pride that such a great lyricist has penned 6 songs for the film and he has completed 3000 songs with this film. Varun Tej is being introduced as hero through this film and I will be indebted to all my fans for their encouragement and backing. I’m very confident that audience will encourage Varu Tej too. Renowned director, star producers, experienced artists and technicians are working for the film. Trailers and songs are stunning. I came to know that fans have given him ‘Mega Prince’ tag. I wish he will rise as a big star. I’ve listened to the songs. They are very melodious. I wish all the best to Mickey J Meyer. I wish and hope that the film will become big hit. I hope Varun Tej will stand out as the pride of Nagababu and our family.”

Varun Tej said, “Director Srikanth Addala came out with a good script for me. Producers kept faith on me and my director and accepted to do this film. Chiranjeevi is my inspiration. He rose as a Megastar and Pawan kalyan, Charan, Bunny, Tej and I are riding on his glory. My uncle Pawan kalyan is busy in shooting. All my family members stood by my side. I thank everyone. I’m sure everyone will enjoy the film.”

Addressing the gathering, director Srikanth Addala said, “I’ve learned a lot from chiranjeevi. Varun Tej gave excellent performance in the film. The story is well blended with novel theme and it can be watched by the whole family together. Mickey J Meyer’s music will stand out as highlight for the film. Producers have not compromised in any aspects. I’m thankful to the producers for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
