Recently released three songs from huge budget film ‘Jayadev’ have already got tremendous response from music lovers. Now, the fourth song titled ‘O Navvulo Inthunda…Inthunda…’ was unveiled by the director Jayanth C Paranjee at Radio City in Hyderabad on May 24. This is the family song penned by Anantha Sriram and sung Sahithi Chaganti. We all know that Kollywood’s super hit film ‘Sethupathi’ is being remade in Telugu as ‘Jaydev’ and Jayanth C Paranjee is helming the project. Andhra Pradesh’s Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s son Ganta Ravi Teja is making his debut in Tollywood with this film. Prominent producer K Ashok Kumar is producing the film under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Art Creations banner. The film has music by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma. The film is slated for release in the first week of June.
On this occasion, director Jayanth C Paranjee said, “Today, we have launched the family melody song which has the starting lines ‘Inthunda…Inthundaa…Neneppudu Oohinchani Vinthundaa…’ Hero, children and hero’s sister and brother-in-law sings the song together in the film. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma has composed lovely tunes. Anantha Siram has penned extraordinary lyrics. This song is distinct among all songs in the film. The song comes in the situation when hero is in frustration when he is suspended from his job. The song was picturised wonderfully. Cameraman Jawhar Reddy has brought Ganta Ravi Teja to my residence. Ganta Ravi expressed his dream to become a hero. I felt that he has hero qualities and he will definitely become success as hero. Later I got to know that he is Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s son. ‘Jayadev’ is the story of an honest police officer. Jayadev character was well designed by taking inspiration from many honest police officers who sacrificed their life in their duty. We have made few changes to the Telugu version to suit to the Telugu nativity. Paruchuri brothers once again shown their pen power. Ravi has given amazing performance. Malavika is being introduced to the Telugu film industry as heroine. ‘Preminchukundam Raa’ has completed 20 years on May 9. Mani Sharma and I have been working together since then. Three songs in the film were composed by Mahesh. Due to his health issue, Mani Sharma has composed the remaining songs. Out of my 12 films, 9 films has music by Mani Sharma. He has provided outstanding music for every film. He has given 3melodious songs for ‘Jayadev’. In my starting days of my career, I worked as a clap assistant director for the film ‘Dhruva Nakshatram’ in 1987 produced by Ashok Kumar. I directed ‘Premante Idera’ and ‘Eeshwar’ under his production. ‘Prabhas’ was introduced to Tollywood through ‘Eeshwar’ under Ashok Kumar garu’s banner. Ganta Ravi is a handsome guy like Prabhas. I am very happy that Ganta Ravi Teja is being introduced to Tollywood through ‘Jayadev’ under my direction. I am sure he will earn fame as commercial hero after this film.”
Singer Sahithi Chaganti shared, “I have sung two songs in ‘Jayadev’. For the first time, I have sung a solo song. ‘O Navvulo Inthunda…Inthunda…’ is my favourite song in the film. I am thankful to Mani Sharma garu and director Jayanth garu for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
