3 Finalists of Telangana State of Femina Misst India 2018 interacted with budding fashion disgners of INIFD Himayatnagar on Sunday
Hyderabad, February 18, 2018: Sakshi Kakkar, Kamakshi Bhaskarla and Indu Cherukuri, the 3 finalists of Telangana state of Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 visited INIFD Himayatnagar today. INIFD has been the knowledge partner for the pageant not only for this year for the past 17years.
They interacted with the 50 plus budding Fashion Designers assembled at INIFD Himayatnagar and answered to their questions. Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) is the World’s Largest Global network of Design Institutes. With 23 years of legacy, over 5 Lac Pass Outs and approximately 25,000 students passing out every year.
I am good at studies. I have done my medical education from China. I want to prove to myself that i am also good at something else. That is why i chose this great platform. It is very challenging. This is the first time ever i participated in any pageant said Kamakshi Bhaskarla.
When asked about her inspiration another finalist, Sakshi Kakkar said, not any one in particular, but it comes from within, she said, for which the budding fashion desginers clapped in union. Indu Cherukuri said she loves dressing up well.
When asked about their idea of fashion they replied that Fashion is constantly transforming. It is reflection of who you are. It reflects your personality.
When asked to share their preparation, Kamakshi said, it was 80 per strict diet regime she followed and 30 per cent was lifestyle.
Film is one of the options of our careers, as most it is perceived that winning of pageant is a one step shot of filmdom. We have lot of career options ahead of us. The journey of pageant is long and we have just begun. There is a lot of time to think about what next. Now we need to move forward in the competition, they informed
They gave young fashion designers fashion tips. They were asked not imitate anyone. They were told to be themselvs. It is not just beauty alone make you win the pageant. You need to have good personality both within and from outside. Keep healthy lifestyles. Keep drinking lot of water. And you must also gym well to keep fit.
Stigma attached to Beauty Pageants. How did they convince their parents to enter into the competition? Kamakshi said, when you love something you prove that with your actions. Expalin to
your parents what is the pageant is all about and positve aspects of it. As far negative comments by people, the three pageants advised their younger friends not to bother much about such comments. Anyway they take and let them do. Just be yourself and carry forward. Once you conduct well their thinking will change, they told the participants.
A beauty pageant is a competition. Traditionally it must have focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. But over the period of time it is changed and contestants also evolved. They incorporated personality traits, intelligence, and talent. It is a beauty with brains contest. Answers to judges' questions, intelligently is not easy.
Pageants are more than just physical appearance. People should know more that what they just watch about the pageant. Pageants are more than just the person’s appearance. They strengthen women in many ways. Strengthen women in many ways. Lot of girls enter pageants insecure. They afraid to voice their opinion.
