Abstrautistry (Autism, Abstraction, Artistry) an exhibition of Paintings by mother son duo Karuna Gopal and Vikram is being held at Muse Art Gallery at the Hyderabad Marriott Hotel from 22nd - 25th January, 2013. The exhibition is being inaugurated on the Tuesday 22nd January, 2013 at 6.00pm bv Hon. speaker Nadella Manohar Cricketer Mr. VVS Laxman and Former Mrs. India Shilpa Reddv at the Muse Art Gallery, Hyderabad Marriott Hotel. Art lovers, prominent citizens of Hyderabad and Celebrities would be joining to celebrate the art.
Ms Karuna Gopal is the President of (FFC) I Foundation for Futuristic Cities who is an internationally acclaimed urban expert (www.futurecities.org). FFC has been influencing Urban Transformation in India through Policy Advisory services and based on the Vision " Vibrant Cities for a Vibrant Economy"' has been working towards making Indian Cities Sustainable* and Global. She showcases her art at International conferences on Urbanization where she is invited to speak; this would be the first time that she would be showcasing it in India. Her art is inspired by her area of work and depicts Urbanization, Cities, Development and the need for well governed and better cities.
Her son Vikram is an Autistic Teenager, through his art he aspires to permanently disable the disability Icon that pops up all too often on his Life screen. He has been trained by his mother. His art has been sold in more than five countries so far and also adorns the walls of celebrity homes, art lovers and IT and Infra companies.
This show is an innovation in the field of art in India as this is the first time that a mother and son are coming together to celebrate art.
