MJCET celebrates its Graduation Day

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology conducted its annual Graduation Day for the students who passed engineering in June 2014 on 8th July 2014. This event provides a platform for the students to celebrate their success after four years of hard work along with their parents and teachers. The students are awarded with their provisional certificates in this function.

The chief guest of the day was Mr. K. Taraka Rama Rao, Minister of IT and Panchayat Raj who presented the graduation speech and encouraged the students to perform well in life and bring laurels to the state and country. The guest of honour of the day was Prof. S. Satyanarayana who gave the commencement speech and applauded the efforts of MJ college in providing quality technical education in Hyderabad.

The ceremony started with welcome address by Mr. Khaja Asif Ahmed, President of MJCET Alumni Association which conducts this function. Mr. Zafar Javed, Hon. Secretary, Sultan Ul Uloom Education society(SUES) presented the graduates to the senate for award of certificates and Mr. Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan, Chairman, SUES, administered the oath to the graduates.

The college was established in 1980 and offers engineering in 8 branches. It is centrally located and offers high academic standards, Excellent placement opportunities and overall professional development to the students to mould them into good citizens of the country. The College has been ranked at 48th Position among top 75 colleges of India by Outlook Magazine for the year 2014.

The college is also proud that this year Mr. Musharraf Ali Farooqui, student of ECE department from 2009 batch, secured all india 80th position in IAS in his first attempt. The SUES felicitated him with a Gold Medal during the graduation day function and encouraged other students also to make the college proud by carving a niche for themselves in various walks of life.
