Kamal Haasan, known for his attempting new concepts no doubt got impressed with Naseeruddin Shah starring ‘A Wednesday’ in Hindi. Yes! He has struggled and bought the rights and made it in Telugu as ‘Eenadu’ and ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ in Tamil. The film is hitting screen worldwide tomorrow, the September 18th.

This movie is about a general public who happens to loose a young friend due to a terrorist attack. With his in depth knowledge of computers, tele-communications and explosives he plans bombs in different parts of the cities and brings the entire police force under his control. The story is all about how he dodges the eyes of the best police force as well as the expert computer brains and how he achieves his results, i.e., taking revenge on the terrorists.

In the present world infested by wiz kids who become masters in computers right from the age of 10, this movie will be a feast to watch. The movie carries an important role in the form of police commissioner played by Venkatesh who can be expected to exceed the acting abilities of Anupam Kher, who did it in Hindi. Another role is that of a news reporter played by Poonam Kaur.

‘Sagara Sanghamam’ fame, Chakri Toleti, is debuting as director. Chakri is bringing in innovation by introducing Red Camera for the first time in South Indian films. It is a camera with more facilities than the traditional camera.

Through this movie Kamal is dreaming to see his daughter Sruthi Haasan’s success as a music director which apparently has been a hobby for her. There was an audio release recently. There are altogether six songs in the music album, but they do not exist in the film. These songs when one hears can feel the tone of the movie.

A suspense ridden thriller, this movie ‘Eenadu’ will stand to remain in the minds of audience for a long time like ‘Pushpak’.
