Allu Arjun’s films are usually wholesome entertainers with interesting screenplays, cool dialogues, mind-blowing dances, catchy songs and thrilling fights. Going by the trend, his forthcoming film ‘Julai’ is expected not to disappoint in these ingredients. Trivikram Srinivas has been very successful not only as a dialogue writer and screenplay writer, but also as a director. He hit the hattrick chord with his directorial ventures like ‘Nuvve Nuvve’, ‘Athadu’ and ‘Jalsa’ but missed his tune in ‘Khaleja’. However, the writer-director is back with full of energy to film yet another youthful entertainer ‘Julai’ which is already creating buzz in the film circle. The title ‘Julai’ is apt for Allu Arjun’s body language and it indicates that the movie is all about unlimited entertainment.
The story of ‘Julai’ is about how the hero who spends his time on the streets with his buddies changes his lifestyle after meeting a girl. The trailers indicate that Allu Arjun unquestionably played the more interesting character. On the other hand, Ileana appears being herself, which she normally does in a breezy way. Cinematography boasts some handsome framing. Music is already a big hit. Devisri Prasad had earlier delivered sensational musical hits in Allu Arjun combination as well as Trivikram combination. Interestingly, ‘O Madhu’ became the first Telugu song ever to be play listed by BBC Asian Network radio station in UK. The promotional song ‘Pakado Pakado’ which is exclusively for promoting the film is now making rounds in all the channels. This has been especially filmed with DSP and Allu Arjun.
Trivikram’s dialogues will be a hallmark everywhere in the film. We are expected to get endless frame by frame scenes of Allu Arjun, with his naughty acts, amazing dances and stupendous stunts. Natakireeti Dr Rajendra Prasad plays a vital role as a cop. Sonu Sood, will be seen as a villain who also has set a trademark in the minds of Telugu audience by this time. Udaya Bhanu’s item number might be a feast to the masses. This apart, well established senior stars like Kota Srinivas Rao, Brahmanandam, M S Narayana, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, etc., would add up spice with their roles undoubtedly delighting the audience. Last but not the least, Mahesh Babu had already made a name for himself by taking his bid to voice the film ‘Jalsa’. Now the busy man voices on ‘Julai’ too.

Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner with DVV Danayya as presenter, ‘Julai’ is all set to release worldwide in more than 1600 theaters on August 9th in Telugu and Malayalam. The film acquired clean ‘U’ certificate. Dasari Narayana Rao is distributing the film on Siri Media banner in Andhra Pradesh, while Ficus Inc. is doing it at overseas.
With the image Allu Arjun has created among Telugu audience and his natural being no different from his filmy characters, the audience walk into the theatre with exploring eyes and walk out with light hearts.
