The much awaited Bharat Ane Nenu is in the theatres. The combination of Koratala Siva and Mahesh Babu has raised expectations. Let us analyse if the film lives upto it.
Story:
Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu) returns to India when his father suddenly passes away. Bharat now has to shoulder a massive responsibility. He has to become the Chief Minister and fulfill promises. Meanwhile he falls in love with Vasumati (Kiara Advani). This romance leads to some issues. Also there is Varadarajulu (Prakash Raj) who wants to usurp him from power.
Performances:
Mahesh Babu has carried the role on his shoulders. It is surely a one man show. He has good screen presence. Kiara Advani makes a confident debut in Tollywood. Prakash Raj does a menacing act.
Technical Aspects:
Koratala Siva once again proves that he is a master craftsman. It is a simple story, but it is the narrative that is good. The film has good message and this is why it is different from the films of this genre. The blending of commercial elements and the message is praise worthy. Editing is perfect. Screenplay is a big plus in this film. The makers have done everything to see that film oozes of grandeur. Of the songs two are really good. The film has many good moments for the fans.
On the flip side the length of the movie is tad too long. Since the genre is serious kind, it may not enetertain some section of the audience.
Final Verdict:
Bharat Ane Nenu is a message oriented movie. Like all Koratala Siva's film this one too has its mass moments. The film lies totally on Mahesh Babu's shoulder. It is an engaging political drama.
