Tamil film ‘Muran’ starring Cheran and Prasanna is a psychological thriller that is hitting theaters on September 23rd. The specialty of this film is that for the first time UTV have ventured into the production of a Tamil film. It has all along distributed some of the big films. Directed Rajjan Madhav, ‘Muran’ is inspired from Alfred Hitchcock’s Hollywood flick ‘Strangers On A Train’. The story revolves around two characters that meet while travelling by train and how their lives turn from then onwards is the film all about. While Cheran essays the role of a famous musician, Prasanna plays an industrialist. The film also stars Nikita Tukral,
Haripriya and Jai Prakash in central roles and has music by Sajjan Madhav, the director’s brother.
