Nani is undoubtedly a talented actor. His debut film ‘Ashta Chamma’ in 2008, not only was the box-office hit, it also made the audience sit up and admire his impeccable work. Next came ‘Ride’, ‘Snehituda’ and ‘Bheemili Kabadi Jattu’, but none of these films could do much for his career. His next ‘Ala Modalaindi’ did extremely well at the box-office and ‘Pilla Zamindaar’ was also quite successful. These two films have put the limelight back on Nani. In Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ (Naan Ee in Tamil), Nani did a very small role but received a lot of attention for his flawless performance. Hence it’s no surprise that he is flooded with offers in Kollywood after ‘Naan Ee’.
Nani is already known to the Tamil audience through ‘Veppam’ (Sega). He is currently shooting for Samuthirakani’s Tamil project ‘Nimirindhu Nil’. This apart the actor is busy with two Telugu movies, Gautham Menon’s ‘Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu’ and Krishnavamsi's ‘Paisa’.
