After ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’, Rana’s next movie would be under Selvaraghavan’s direction. The duo has been planning to do a film for quite long time and it appears the time has come now for them to work on it. Earlier, Selvaraghavan prepared a script for Rana, but it did not materialize because Rana and his father D Suresh Babu were not convinced with it since they felt that the budget might shoot up extensively. However, the father-son appears to have been convinced now, hence they decided to proceed with it. It’s a period film set on the backdrop of 3000 B.C. Music will be provided by Selvaraghavan’s regular music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. This would be yet another bilingual film after KVJ (Ongaram in Tamil). Selvaraghavan will take the film on the sets soon after completing his ongoing film ‘Brindavanam Lo Nandakumarudu’ (Irandum Ulagam in Tamil) starring Arya and Anushka.
