Jagapathi Babu and Bhoomika starrer ‘April Fool’ is directed by Srikanth Ayyangar and produced by G L Srinivas on Sudha Entertainment and Karthal Productions banners. Dr Bunty is scoring the music. On the eve of director Srikanth Ayyangar’s birthday a press meet was held today where the entire unit offered their birthday wishes to the director. Later
Later addressing the media Jagapathi Babu said, “Although I was little confused about the story of the film despite watching the DVD initially, there is some attraction in the story. I worked for 13 days for this film. Srikanth is a disciplined person. He completed this movie with full dedication. His direction team is really wonderful. In my 25 years of career this is the only film which I couldn’t understand and got confused. But there is something that would attract audience.”
Producer G L Srinivas said, “I too did not understand the story. Right from day one of film launch, we have shot the film for 42 days in RFC, Rock Castle and Gulabi house. The unit is presently in dubbing. There are 5 attractive songs in this film the audio CDs of which will be released this month end.”
Seema Azaruddin said, “I’m a great fan of Jagapathi Babu and I watched almost all his film till date. I was amazed to see his performance in this film. The film is currently in post productions. We have completed 38 call sheets in 38 days. We shot the film in 42 days. It’s only due to director’s planning that we were able to complete the film quickly. We are planning to release the audio soon.”
Director Srikanth Ayyangar said, “April Fool will reflect the real lives of the people. We have made this film in a very realistic manner with new kind of treatment without missing the entertainment part anywhere. This movie will attract everyone right from youth. Bunty’s music is fantastic. To tell in one word, ‘April Fool’ will be like a Dum Biriyani. I thank my producers for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
Randhir and Bunty also participated in the press meet. Seema Azaruddin removed Evil Eye (dhishti) to Jagapathi Babu saying that his performance was amazing in this film.
