Ravi Teja’s ‘Balupu’ went on the sets on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami. The film was launched at producer Prasad V Potluri’s office quietly. VV Vinayak tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot while Harish Shankar switched on the camera and Boyapati Sreenu directed the first shot.
Director Gopichand Malineni said, “This is my 2nd film with Ravi Teja after ‘Don Seenu’. I’m very happy to work under a big banner like PVP. It’s a full-length action entertainer. The regular shooting will commence in November.”
‘Balupu’ stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali in the lead. Kona Venkat provided the script and SS Thaman is scoring music for this Gopichand Malineni’s directorial venture. ‘Balupu’ is a bilingual film to be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil by PVP banner. Jayanan Vincent handles the camera while Kona Venkat is penning the dialogues. Stay tuned for more details.
