This evening Hyderabad saw the grand audio launch of Prabhas-Anushka-Richa Gangopadhyay starrer ‘Mirchi’ at Ramanaidu Cine Village. With Devisri Prasad’s music, Koratala Shiva is directing the film under U V Creations banner. Vamsi and Pramod are the joint producers of the film. The audio CDs were released by Krishnam Raju and SS Rajamouli received the first CD followed by the release of theatrical trailer by Krishnam Raju again. The highlight of the audio function was the celebrities dance for DSP’s song ‘Yahoo. Yahoo…’. Krishnam Raju, Rajamouli, Prabhas, Anushka, Dil Raju danced and made hungama along with Devisri while he crooned the song on the stage.
Later addressing the audience Krishnam Raju said, “Mirchi movie on UV Creations banner will be hotter than Guntur mirchi. The promos and songs are very impressive. The director and producers are making the film differently. The fans hungama is making me feel like the festival has arrived 9 days earlier. Prabhas has surpassed me in acting. So I’m confident that ‘Mirchi’ will become a big hit.”
Rajamouli commented, “Prabhas is everyone’s Darling, especially to girls. He is friendly with everyone. I wish this film which is directed by Shiva with Prabhas to become a big hit.”
V V Vinayak said, “Mirchi is generally hot and this ‘Mirchi’ will be hotter than a normal mirchi. I got good impression on Shiva after he narrated the story to me. He is the man with good knowledge on films. I like Prabhas because he values friendship. He doesn’t require anything else when he is surrounded with friends. I whole-heartedly wish the film unit for good reputation through this film which Prabhas did this movie with his friends for them. Anushka and Prabhas’s chemistry was wonderful in ‘Billa’. I hope their chemistry will be the same in this film also.”
Prabhas said, “Vamsi and Promod are my childhood friends. They have really worked hard to make this film. I wish my friends’ film to become a big hit. All films for which Shiva provided the scripts have become super hits. I hope everyone liked the ‘Mirchi’ teaser. I thank Devisri for giving superb music and my co-star Anushka. I’m very happy to see some many fans attending this audio function.”
Anushka said, “Mirchi is my 2nd film with Prabhas. I felt comfortable working with this team. Both Promod and Vamsi have supported me like friends. I thank my director Shiva for giving me a wonderful character like Vineela and Devisri Prasad for composing wonderful music.”
Dil Raju said, “Vamsi and Promod are like two hands for Prabhas. Shiva worked as a writer for ‘Bhadra’, ‘Munna’ and ‘Brindavanam’ under our banner. He was supposed to made his debut as director through our banner. But that chance was taken away by Vamsi and Pramod. After listening to Shiva’s script, I felt that ‘Mirchi’ will be greater than ‘Bhadra’ and ‘Brindavanam’. Prabhas sports a new look in this film. DSP needs no introduction. His gave superb music to the film. My best wishes to new producers.”
Devisri Prasad said, “Mirchi is my first audio in 2013. It’s my 4th film with Prabhas. I wish the film to become a super hit.”
Shyam Prasad Reddy said, “The Mahalakshmi theater owner in Gunapavaram, West Godavari district is a close associate of mine. He once recommended a man named Siva for a job at my office. However that man preferred to work in my dubbing theater than office, the reason being that he can see Prabhas in the dubbing theater. He is such a huge fan of Prabhas that he tattooed his body with the titles ‘Chatrapati’, ‘Ek Niranjan’ ‘Darling’, etc. When the producers of ‘Mirchi’ sent me audio CDs, I asked his opinion on music. He said that all songs were good and distributed sweets in the office. I’ve understood the love of Prabhas fans only after seeing him. As per his wish this film should become a big hit. The director of this film penned many scripts in the past. All of them were super hits. So I’m confident that this film will also become a super hit.”
BVSN Prasad, Kasi Vishwanath, Koratala Shiva, Vamsi, Promod, Lakshman, Sirish, Benerjee and other unit members also attended the audio function.
