The Tamil Nadu government had imposed a 15 days ban on Wednesday on screening of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ in theaters in Tamil Nadu. However, as per the latest reports, the Madras High Court decided to deliver its verdict on January 28th after
Kamal Haasan approached the court today. Arguments took place between the lawyers supporting the State Government and Haasan’s lawyers about the film showing Muslims on bad light. Finally the verdict has been postponed to 28th since the judge has to decide on it only after reviewing the film. Therefore the film will not be releasing on 25th January in Tamil Nadu but the Telugu version will hit screens as per the scheduled date, i.e., tomorrow.
