Chaitanya Dantuluri of ‘Baanam’ fame is now directing and producing the film ‘Basanthi’ with Gautham (Brahmanandam’s son) as hero and introducing Alisha Begh as heroine. The film is taking shape under the banner Start Camera Pictures. The first look pictures were released today. Director Chaitanya Dantuluri said, “I prepared this story even before the ‘Baanam’ happened. ‘Basanthi’ depicts the story based on the present day incidents in real life. College is very important to a student because it earn recognition to every student right from the time they get admitted in a college. Gautham will be seen in the role named ‘Arjun’, a college student. Story, screenplay, dialogues, music, cinematography and performances of all artists are the highlights. Shooting has reached the final stage. So we are going to release the audio in November and the film in December.”
