An USA based software engineer, Sriram Vegaraju, has earned several awards for his short film 'Distant Beats'. This aspiring director who did a course in Seattle Film Institute, is now stepping into Telugu film industry with the film 'Ori Devudoy' starring Rajeev (music director Koti's son) as hero. As the film is ready for release, the debut director held a press meet as part of the film promotion on Saturday in Hyderabad.

Speaking about his film 'Ori Devudoy', he said, "It's natural for every person to crave for publicity. Interestingly our film showcases how the God himself thrives for it and meets a software CEO to create publicity for Him in the world where humans are forgetting to worship Him due to the busy lifestyle. The rest of the story revolves around this storyline with funny incidents."

Narrating about the characters in the film, the director said, "There are more than 20 old characters in the film in which all senior actors will be seen. Rajeev played the software CEO and did complete justice to his character. Koti's music is the main attraction to the film. With comedy as main backdrop along with fantasy elements, 'Ori Devudoy' is sure to entertain the audience in a full-fledged manner in this summer."

About the progress director Sriram Vegaraju said, "The recently released audio is receiving wonderful response. Right now the post production work is under progress. We are planning to complete the censor formality in this week and release the film shortly. I'm quite confident that this fantasy cum comedy entertainer would definitely entertain the audience."
