Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ launches on April 22

We all know that Nandamuri Balakrishna is portraying the role of ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’, who was the monarch of the India, in his much-awaited 100th film. Actually, the role was supposed to be portrayed by Mahanatudu Natarathna NTR, but it didn’t happen. Now, Nandamuri Balakrishna is doing his father’s dream project as his 100th film. The film’s announcement took place at the capital of AP, Amaravathi on April 8 on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi. The film ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ launch event will take place in grand level at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on April 22. Some prominent people of the film industry and some political leaders and large number of fans from Andhra and Telangana areas are expected to grace the function.

The story of ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ should be known to Telugu people. He was the monarch of the entire India. Gauthamiputra Satakarni fought for the peace. He stood as an inspiration to many people including Marti Veer Chhatrapati Shivaji. ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ struggled hard to uplift our Telugu language. He ruled the India by making Amaravathi which is located on the banks of river Krishna, Kotilingalapalli in Karimnagar district which is located on the banks of river Godavari and Prathistanapuram near Nasik in Maharashtra as capitals. The news that Balakrishna is portraying the role of ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ for his 100th film has brought festive cheer to Balakrishna’s fans. Rajiv Reddy and Saibabu are producing this prestigious film with Bibo Srinivas as presenter. Krish Jagarlamudi, who had impressed critics with his recent film ‘Kanche’, is the director.
