Zee Cinemalu, a full time Telugu movie channel from the Zee Entertainment group launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi. For the first time in the history of Telugu Movie channels, Zee Cinemalu aired World Television Premiere. Kumari 21F, the sensational film penned by Sukumar with Raj Tarun and Hebah in the lead roles was telecast on 14th October. This film emerged as the slot leader in the urban market which is a record in itself.
Continuing its streak of record breaking properties, Zee Cinemalu now gets ready for the second world television premiere. The prestigious Akkineni family’s youngest heir Akhil Akkineni’s debut film Akhil is going to be premiered on Zee Cinemalu. Akhil is a youthful action entertainer which revolves around an element Jua for which the hero risks his life. Well known actor Nithiin produced the film which has Sayesha, granddaughter of the legendary Bollywood actor Dileep Kumar, as the female lead. The songs of the film composed by Thaman and Anoop Rubens are a huge hit which turned out to be chartbusters Akhil has been unanimously praised for his acting and dancing skills and was given the tag of future superstar after this film. The star has also won several awards including the prestigious Filmfare for his debut.
