‘Dandupalyam 2’ has wrapped up shooting part except for the patchwork. Business wise the film has got good craze. Producer Venkat is planning to bring the film to the audience in the month of August. We all know that Pooja Gandhi and Raghu Mukherjee starrer ‘Dandupayam’ directed by Srinivasa Raju and produced by Venkat under Venkat Movies banner has created sensation and stood as blockbuster hit in Kannada by collecting 30 Crores. It has created sensation even in Telugu by grossing 10 Crores and stood as a hundred days film. Producer Venkat is producing the sequel ‘Dandupalyam 2’ with the same team.
“Pooja Gandhi and Raghu Mukherjee starrer ‘Dandupayam’, which was released in 2012 was a huge hit and ran hundred days both in Telugu and Kannada. Now the sequel ‘Dandupalyam 2’ is being made in Telugu and Kannada languages simultaneously. The film is receiving good craze right from the starting day itself. Business wise, it has got good offers. Some key scenes which were shot at the specially designed Jail set with the budget of Rs. 1 Crore in Bangalore, will stand out as highlight for the film. The sequel ‘Dandupalyam 2’ is being made during the time when the sequels ‘Robo 2’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ are being made. It has given me immense pleasure. Entire shooting of the film has been completed except for patchwork. We are planning to bring the film to the audience in the month of August. I am extremely confident that the success of ‘Dandupalyam 2’ will surpass the success of ‘Dandupalyam’,” said producer Venkat.
