Tamil super hit film ‘Chandi Veeran’ produced by famous director Bala, is getting ready for release in Telugu as ‘Kaali’. Bala is presenting the film in Telugu on B Studios banner. The film that features Atharvaa, Anandhi, Lal, Rajashree and Bose Venkat in the lead roles and directed by A Sarkunam, is being brought to Telugu audience by MMR on Lakshmi Venkateswara Movies and Sri Green Productions banners. Prominent director G Nageswara Reddy has launched the film’s teaser.
Speaking at the teaser launch event, G Nageswara Reddy said, “Teaser is very impressive. Hero Murali has earned good name as hero in Telugu through the film ‘Hrudayam’. Now, his son Atharvaa has played the lead role in ‘Kaali’. Producer Maheswara Redddy is my close friend. I wish the film will become big hit. Lyrics penned by Bhuvana Chandra and Challa Bhagyalakshmi are wonderful. The film which is blended with all elements will impress Telugu audience for sure.”
Producer MMR said, “We are bringing the Tamil super hit film which was produced by prominent director Bala as ‘Kaali’ to Telugu audience with Bala garu as presenter. ‘Kaali’ is set in the backdrop of a village. The film deals with the conflict between two villages on water scarcity. The film is laced with all elements right from Sankranti festival to village environment and entertainment. The film half of the film will leave audience in splits, while the second half will goes on in thrilling mode. PG Muthiah’s cinematography will impress everyone. Post-production works have been completed. SN Arunagiri’s tunes and Sabesh-Murali’s background score will take the film to the next level. The chemistry between Atharvaa and Anandi worked out wonderfully. The film will connect to Telugu people as well. We are planning to release the film in February.”
Lyricist Dr. Challa Bhagyalakshmi said, “I am very happy to be part of penning lyrics for the film ‘Kaali’ which has songs by senior writer like Bhuvanachandra garu. I have penned a mass song ‘Yesey Mava…’. The song was filmed on hero and his friends. The film which is set in village backdrop will entertain Telugu audience for sure. Murali, Lal and Anandi have acted well. I am confident that the film’s audio will impress everyone.”
Rajashree, Bose Venkat, N Ilambharathi, Ravichandran, Santhakumar, Supergood Subramani, K Ananthan, Anantha Pangali, Kalai, Madhurai Ramev and GK are part of the cast.
