The eagerly awaited Superstar Rajinikath’s with director Pa. Ranjith has been titled ‘Kaala’ with the tagline ‘Karikalan’. This much awaited film is being produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films banner and this will be Thalaivar’s 164th film. The film will have Rajinikanth playing the don living in Mumbai. The title has become a top trend within minutes of the film’s title being announced.
Dhanush, Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and the film’s producer, revealed the film’s poster. The first look has the outline of Rajinikanth in stark red against a black background. This is the first time Rajinikanth and Dhanush are working together. According to the sources, Huma Qureshi has been signed to play the female lead in the flick. Rajinikanth’s favourite music director Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music. The rest of the cast and crew details will be disclosed soon. As per the latest updates, the film’s regular shooting will commence from May 28 in Mumbai.
The film is being made in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and it is planned to be released by the end of this year.
