Govardhan Gajjala about PEMPAK

Govardhan Gajjala has a great fascination for films and that’s why he left the job which pays 5 lakh per month and wielded the megaphone. He, who did in OU and completed Masters in US, has earned a job from a multinational company. With the great passion for film, he did filmmaking course from University of California in Los Angeles. He won accolades by making few short films. With the confidence that got from the response of short films, he left his job and made a romantic thriller ‘PEMPAK’ (Prema Entha Madhuram Priyuraalu Antha Katinam) along with his friends.

Interesting thing is that, all artists and technicians who worked for the film are NRIs. The film was extensively shot in America. The film features Chandrakanth, Radhika Mehrotra and Pallavi Dora in the lead roles. The film also features Tanikella Bharani, Tulasi and Gemini Suresh and some others in major roles. Directed by debutant Govardhan G, the film is being produced under Third eye creations banner.

‘Prema Entha Madhuram Priyuraalu Antha Katinam (PEMPAK)’ is getting ready for release on November 17. On the eve of film’s release, director Govardhan Gajjala took some time out of his day to share few words about the film. He said, “The film was already screened in Hyderabad and America for some prominent people, friends and relative. Everyone who watched the film have wholeheartedly appreciated. One of the prominent persons who watched the film is producer Bekkem Venugopal (Gopi). He assured us he will give his support in every possible way. I will be indebted to him forever.”

“I have sacrificed many things personally and professionally for this film. My hard work payed off after seeing the output. Chandrakanth, Radhika Mehrotra and Pallavi Dora’s performance and the music will stand out as big assets for the film. PEMPAK which has been made as a feel good family entertainer is releasing on November 17 in both Telugu states. I am extremely confident that the film will impress all sects of audience,” the director added.
