William Alexander, the owner of prominent production house Picture Box Company has bagged the Telugu rights of Vijay Antony’s upcoming film ‘Kaasi’. ‘Kaasi’ is the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil film ‘Kaali’. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is the director. After super hit films like ‘Bichagadu’ and ‘Indrasena’, Vijay Antony is coming up with this film. Anjali and Sunaina are the female leads. The film is produced by Vijay Antony’s wife Fatima Vijay Antony under Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner. The film will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The makers of the film will announce the rest of the details soon.
Music is by Vijay Antony himself, while the cinematography is by Richard M Nathan. The film is expected to release for this summer in both languages.
“Vijay Antony, who carved a special image for himself in the hearts of Telugu audience with blockbuster ‘Bichagadu’, is now making a Tamil, Telugu bilingual film ‘Kaala’. We are releasing the film in Telugu as ‘Kaasi’ on Picture Box Company banner. We are extremely confident that ‘Kaasi’ will become bigger hit than Bichagadu’,” said producer William Alexander.
