Medical crime thriller ‘Crime 23’ directed by ‘Vaishali’ fame Arivazhagan Venkatachalam will hit screens on August 24. It is the Telugu dubbed version of super hit Tamil film ‘Kuttram 23’. The telugu version is produced by Prasad Dharmi Reddy, Randi Shankar Rao, Surapati Gandhi and Indar Kumar. Arun Vijay, who earn good name with ‘Bruce Lee’ and ‘Enthavadu Gaani’ by playing villain has played hero in this film. Mahima Nambiar is the heroine. Vishal Chandrasekhar is the music composer. The film also features Vijay Kumar, Vamsi Krishna, Thambi Ramaiah, Aravind Akash, Amit Bhargav, Abhinaya, Suja Varunee, Misha Ghoshal and Neelima Rani and some others.
Announcing the release date, producer Prasad Dharmi Reddy said, “It’s a medical crime thriller which was made based on the real incidents that happened in Tamil Nadu. Tamil version has garnered good collections and appreciations. Each and every scene will be thrilling. ‘Crime 23’ is loaded with all ingredients like action, romance and family sentiment along with a good message. Arun Vijay will be seen in powerful police officer role. He has given wonderful performance. It’s a must watch film for Telugu audience. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music and Bhaskaran’s stylish cinematography will stand out as highlights for the film. The trailer of the film was released by Prabhas recently and it has got positive response from audience. All formalities related to the film have been completed and we have decided to bring the film to Telugu audience on August 24.”
