Producer DS Rao, who produced few hit films including Nithin starrer ‘Drona’, ‘Pilla Jamindar’ with Nani and ‘Kalavar King’ with Nikhil, collaborated with award winning director G Neelakanta Reddy for the film ‘Chammak Challo’ and also experimented with darker side with a crime thriller ‘Mr. Nookayya’ that features Manchu Manoj in the lead, is now foraying into Kannada industry with the remake of super hit Telugu film ‘RX 100’.
Popular producer DS Rao has snapped the Kannada rights of ‘RX 100’ which was a huge hit in Telugu for a fancy price. Sources say that he is planning to rope in a sensational young actor for the lead role. Rest of the cast and crew details will be announced by the makers soon.
Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, ‘RX 100’ bankrolled by Ashok Gummakonda. It had Payal Rajput and Karthikeya as its leading pair.
