Sekhar Kammula is known to make good films that makes us think. After Fida he wanted to do his next film Love Story with youngsters. But that plan did not fall in place. He brought in Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi as the lead pair.
His film focuses on an incident that happened in the Telugu states last year. The incident happened in Miryalaguda. A youngster named Pranay was murdered just because he fell in love with Amrutha who was from upper caste. Pranay belongs to lower caste. He was killed by Amrutha's father, despite knowing that his daughter was pregnant with Pranay's child.
Media has shown discussions relating to this incident. It shocked people to no end. Now Kammula has kept this incident as the main crux of his movie. We will have to wait and see how he will present this heart wrenching incident in the film. Love Story will release in April 2020.
