Well-known editor Kola Bhaskar is no more

Kola Bhaskar, the editor in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, has breathed his last. The 55-year-old was suffering from throat cancer and was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad.

Survived by his wife and son, Bhaskar had not been active in films for several years before his passing away. He introduced his son Kola Balakrishna as a hero with a bilingual directed by Gitanjali Selvaraghavan, in 2016. The Titled 'Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam' in Tamil, it was titled 'Nannu Vadili Neevu Polevule' in Telugu. Bhaskar produced it.

Pawan Kalyan's 'Kushi', Venkatesh's 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule' and Selvaraghavan's '7/G Brindavan Colony' are some of his famous movies as an editor.
